On the one hand, we publish chamber music, primarily for string trio and string quartet. Our editions include both Urtext editions of historical works and arrangements of other works for these ensembles. In this field, we work closely with the Aleksić String Trio, one of Vienna’s leading string trios.
On the other hand, we aim to rediscover and revive outstanding works for choir and orchestra—primarily sacred music—that have undeservedly fallen into oblivion. We make these works accessible to musicians and audiences once again through newly prepared Urtext editions. One example is the music of Joseph Edler von Eybler, Imperial Court Kapellmeister and a close friend of Mozart. Between 1800 and 1850, Eybler was one of the most frequently performed composers in Vienna, yet today his music is almost entirely forgotten.
Most of our editions are freely available and can be downloaded from our website at no cost. Newly prepared chamber music editions are available through the Aleksić String Trio.
